My name is Devashish Mishra, and I am the Founder and CEO of Mr. Care 24/7 Private Limited, known to most people as Mr. Care Pharmacy. This is not a story about building a fast-growing startup. It is a story about why I felt the need to build something better.

Before Mr. Care Pharmacy existed, I spent years closely watching how pharmacies worked. I saw people walk in with fear and confusion, holding prescriptions they did not fully understand. Many of them were elderly, some were caring for family members, and most were already under stress. They came for medicines, but what they really needed was clarity and reassurance.
Too often, I noticed the same pattern. Medicines were handed over quickly. Bills were made fast. Questions were ignored or rushed. People walked out with tablets in their hands, but with doubts still in their minds. That never felt right to me. Healthcare, especially at the pharmacy level, should not feel hurried or cold.
That feeling stayed with me. I kept asking myself a simple question—what if a pharmacy slowed down? What if it explained instead of assuming? What if care mattered more than speed? That question became the reason Mr. Care Pharmacy was born.
Five years ago, I started Mr. Care Pharmacy with limited resources and a small team. There was no big launch, no investors, and no pressure to grow quickly. The focus was simple: create a pharmacy where people feel comfortable asking questions and confident walking out.
From day one, Mr. Care Pharmacy was built around trust. Pharmacists were encouraged to talk, not just dispense. Customers were invited to ask anything—about dosage, side effects, or long-term use. We treated confusion as seriously as illness. Even if it took extra time, it was worth it.
The response was quiet but powerful. People returned. They brought their families. They told their neighbours. Not because we were the cheapest, but because they felt respected and understood.
Today, Mr. Care Pharmacy serves thousands of customers every month. We have grown in size, team strength, and systems, but the reason we exist has not changed. Every store, every process, and every decision still goes back to the same question—are we making healthcare easier for people?
I did not start Mr. Care Pharmacy to build the biggest pharmacy chain. I started it to build a pharmacy people can trust. As we grow and move into new cities, that purpose remains the same.
Mr. Care Pharmacy is not just my business. It is my answer to a problem I saw every day—and felt needed to change.
